The signing ceremony, which took place on August 14, 2024, in Tay Ninh City, marked the beginning of a tourism development partnership between Saigontourist Group and the Tay Ninh Province People's Committee for the 2024-2029 period. The event was attended by representatives from the HCMC government, Tay Ninh provincial leadership, Saigontourist Group's management, central and local media outlets.

This cooperation is expected to stimulate tourism development, attract investment, and create new tourism products and services. It will also strengthen marketing and event organization, as well as improve human resource training, to make tourism a key economic development of Tay Ninh Province," said Pham Huy Binh, chairman of Saigontourist Group. "Additionally, this partnership provides an opportunity for Saigontourist Group to expand its business in the Tay Ninh market, aiming to increase both domestic and international visitor numbers and fully tap into the local tourism potential.
 

 

At the ceremony, Truong Duc Hung, general director of Saigontourist Group, outlined the broad scope of the collaboration, which includes consulting on the development and planning of long term, mid-term, and short-term tourism strategies. The partnership will also involve investing in new tourism products and regional initiatives, as well as promoting tourism both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the collaboration will focus on organizing tourism-related cultural, culinary, and sports events. 

The partnership will also prioritize the training and development of human resources for Tay Ninh's tourism sector, with the goal of attracting more visitors to the province and facilitating travel for Tay Ninh residents to other regions and international destinations. Saigontourist Group will provide consultancy on tourism planning, invest in the development of new tourism products and services, and create regionally linked products to enhance Tay Ninh's tourism industry.

Saigontourist Group will collaborate with local entities and partners in Tay Ninh to commercialize new tourism products and tours, support promotional activities, enhance communication efforts, and host various tourism, cultural, and culinary events both within Vietnam and abroad.
From 2024 to 2029, Tay Ninh province will support Saigontourist Group in conducting surveys, researching, and developing new tourism products, programs, and services. The province will create favorable conditions for the group to organize tourism activities and invest in projects within the area. 
The local government will actively promote the use of Saigontourist tours and services, including offerings from its hotels and restaurants, and will support the Saigontourist Hospitality College in providing tourism training programs within the province. 

Nguyen Hong Thanh, deputy chairman of the Tay Ninh Province People's Committee, echoed this sentiment, stating, "With a strong commitment to promoting investment and creating favorable conditions for investors to explore potential tourism projects, Tay Ninh's leadership values Saigontourist Group's initiative to formalize this cooperation agreement. This agreement will also support the implementation of the regional tourism development cooperation agreement for the southeastern region 2020-2025, signed by six southeastern provinces in 2020 in Tay Ninh".

Over the years, Saigontourist Travel Service Company, a subsidiary of Saigontourist Group, has brought tens of thousands of domestic and international tourists to Tay Ninh's attractions through single or multi -destination tours, including cruise passengers. Tay Ninh's appeal lies in its majestic Ba Den Mountain, known as the "Rooftop of the Southeast", the unique ecosystem of Lo Go Xa Mat National Park, Dau Tieng Reservoir, the cultural and spiritual site of Cao Dai in Tay Ninh, historical landmarks, and local culinary specialties such as Trang Bang noodles and rice paper.
In addition to collaborating in tourism product development, Saigontourist Group has supported Tay Ninh Province by organizing investment conferences, promoting the province through media channels, training tourism professionals and inviting Tay Ninh to Participate in the Saigontourist Group Food and Culture Festival in HCMC for three consecutive years 2022, 2023, 2024.
