On December 5, 2020 at the Vietnam Golf & Country Club golf course, Saigontourist Group successfully organized the “Saigontourist Group Charity Golf Tournament 2020”. The tournament fruitfully raised funds and donated 650 scholarships worth 800 million VND to poor, but studious students with difficult circumstances, schools for blind children, shelters in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces. In a particularly difficult year, the tournament was still organized by Saigontourist Group with the aim of maintaining the scholarship fund for the future. It’s also dedicated to support the children to go to school without interruption because of difficult family circumstances, especially due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the 15th consecutive time that the golf tournament has been held. This year, the tournament follows the series of activities celebrating the 45th anniversary of Saigontourist Group (1975 - 2020).
Saigontourist Group and Vietnam Airlines officially became comprehensive partners. The event was marked by a comprehensive cooperation signing ceremony for the period 2020-2025 held in Ba Ria -Vung Tau province on November 20, 2020.
