Rex Saigon's Grand Seasonal Promotion

Rex Saigon is to give free drink voucher to all guests who book a room. Besides, guests will receive two free cocktails when ordering two cocktails at Rooftop Garden Bar on the fifth floor from 4p.m. to 9p.m. everyday. The bar also stages performances of Chau Flamenco band at 8 p.m. every Friday and Saturday.
 

Rooftop Garden Bar overlooking some of the most well-known streets of downtown Saigon was recognized as "One of the Best Bars in South-east Asia" by Newsweek in 1996. Patricia Schultz, a travel reporter from the U.S., included the bar in the list of "1000 Venues You Should Visit At Least Once in Life". During the 1960s, Rooftop Garden Bar, which was called "Five O'clock Follies," was a favourite venue of U.S. soldiers in southern Vietnam then.
Until now, the unique old style of Rooftop Garden Bar has been maintained. Especially, bartenders there offer guests creative cocktails exclusive at Rex Saigon. More than 7000 glasses of cocktails are served at the bar each month. The Rooftop Garden Bar also offers Western, Chinese and Vietnamese menus.
 
In May, the Rooftop Garden Bar and Hoa Mai (Apricot Blossom) Restaurant introduce four new special dishes of the month - including Vietnamese pomelo salad with shrimp and pork, stir-fried shrimp with green tea sauce, grilled semi-dried cuttlefish with green chili and salt, and stir-fried beef noodles. From now until May 31, guests will be entitled to a 30% discount when ordering one of the four dishes. 
Nourishing a passion for re-creating delicious dishes, Rex Saigon's chefs have researched and highlighted a new dish of the month - Vietnamese pomelo salad with shrimp and pork, a perfect combination of sweet citrusy pomelo, flavorful pork, and fresh shrimp. This is surely and excellent appetizer. In addition , other dishes of the month are stir-fried shrimp with green tea sauce with a unique combination of fresh shrimp and a tenderness green tea sauce, grilled semi-dried cuttlefish with green chili and salt delivering a soft, rubbery, chewy, and sweet cuttlefish and a strong taste of green chili, and stir-fried beef noodle with incredibly flavorful of beef as well as crispy texture of noodle.

Hoa Mai Restaurant is ideal for family dinners and groups of friends. Its menu entails both Asian and Vietnamese cuisines. Moreover, the restaurant is decorated in the royal style which focuses on the eye-catching yellow color and paintings depicting ladies from Vietnam's three regions. A stage where traditional music shows are performed is ready to serve dinners.
Meanwhile, Cung Dinh (Royal Court) Restaurant serves a menu of traditional Vietnamese dishes in a setting of Hue royal style with wooden furniture and a warm brown color. 
Moreover, Thien Duong (Paradise) Cafe on the ground floor is a perfect venue for afternoon tea or a meeting with partners. Vuon Hong, or Pink Garden, which is one of the first and biggest vertical gardens in a five-star hotel in Vietnam, allows guests to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of cocktail in a peaceful greenery setting. In the afternoon, the Pink Garden transforms itself into a stage for water puppet show.
Aside from these five restaurants and bars, Rex Hotel Saigon in the heart of Saigon has 286 well-equipped rooms, eight meeting rooms, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a health care center.
