This year's tournament reinforces Saigontourist Group's commitment to community support as it successfully raised VND 200 million to help those impacted by storms and floods. Additionally, 400 scholarships, each valued at VND1 million, were awarded to underprivileged students with good academic achievements. In response to the leadership's call, employees and workers across the group also contributed around VND2.8 billion as of September 20, 2024.

As one of the prestigious tournaments in the country, Saigontourist Group's Charity Golf Tournament this year attracted 140 golfers, including entrepreneurs, managers, representatives from media agencies, foreign diplomatic missions in HCMC, and other localities. The tournament was organized at Vietnam Golf and Country Club, a Saigontourist Group member renowned for hosting many major golf events in Vietnam.
The "Teeing Off" ceremony of the 18th Saigontourist Group's Charity Golf Tournament took place from 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on September 21, 2024. The golfers' competition was held from 11:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m., while the award and closing ceremony began at 5:30 p.m. on the same day inside the Vietnam Golf and Country Club complex.
The tournament was supported by various companies, including Vietnam Golf and Country Club, Chains Caravelle Hotel Joint Venture Company Limited (Vegas Club), Vietin Bank-HCMC Branch, SCTV, International Tourist Club, SECC, Vietnam Airlines, GFC Textile, and many others.
Along with the charity golf tournament, Saigontourist Group has actively engaged in various social initiatives to demonstrate its commitment to the community. Notably, the group participated in a charitable program supporting production and social welfare in rural areas, including assistance to remote villages in Can Gio District, with a total budget of VND10 billion in the 2017-2020 period. This program was carried out under the direction of the HCMC Party Committee and People's Committee.
