SAIGONTOURIST GROUP REVIEWS 2025 PERFORMANCE AND UNVEILS STRATEGIC GOALS FOR 2026

The event saw the attendance of leaders from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and various municipal departments. Representatives from central and local media agencies were also present, underscoring the government and media's recognition of Saigontourist Group's pivotal role and contributions to the tourism industry.

Addressing the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Chairwoman of the Board of Members of Saigontourist Group, stated:

“The 2025 Review Conference is not only an occasion to look back on a year of extraordinary efforts across our entire system but also a significant milestone as we enter a new phase of development. With a spirit of strong innovation, decisive action, and a desire for breakthroughs, our 2025 achievements serve as a vital foundation while setting high bars for the upcoming period.”

Robust Growth and Global Presence

According to the report, despite global economic volatility and fierce competition, Saigontourist Group met and exceeded most business targets assigned by the City.

  • Parent Company Total Revenue: reached 2,538 billion VND, an 11.2% increase year-on-year (102% of the plan).

  • Pre-tax Profit: hit 672.5 billion VND, up 38.3% (103% of the annual plan).

  • Accommodation: served nearly 476,000 guests with an average occupancy of 61.3%. Notably, several 4-5 star hotels in the city center achieved occupancy rates between 72% and 88%.

Beyond financial success, the Group reaffirmed its role as a state-owned tourism powerhouse, pioneering promotion efforts linked to economic and cultural diplomacy. In 2025, the Group accompanied high-level delegations from the Party, State, and City to key markets including Japan, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Its signature events, such as the Saigontourist Group Food & Culture Festival, continued to garner international acclaim, being named "World's Best Culinary Festival" and "Asia's Best Culinary Festival" for several consecutive years.

Strategic Vision for 2026: "Discipline – Innovation – Efficiency – Sustainability"

As 2026 marks the beginning of a new development phase, Saigontourist Group has adopted the theme “Discipline – Innovation – Efficiency – Sustainability,” focusing on five pillars:

  1. Enhancing service quality.

  2. Promoting key investments.

  3. Expanding regional and international linkages.

  4. Accelerating digital transformation.

  5. Developing a high-quality workforce.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa further noted that the Group’s strategy aligns with Ho Chi Minh City’s 2026 theme of "Refining organizational apparatus – Unblocking institutional barriers – Breaking through infrastructure – Enhancing public service efficiency."

Leveraging opportunities from Resolution 79 and Resolution 260, Saigontourist Group aims to implement a transformation strategy based on the model: “Leading by capability, creating by mechanism, and thriving through culture.” The Group will continue to streamline its apparatus, resolve internal bottlenecks, and place "service quality for citizens, tourists, and partners" as the central metric for success.

With a legacy spanning over half a century, Saigontourist Group aims to maintain its position as Vietnam’s leading tourism brand, contributing to the sustainable development and deep integration of Ho Chi Minh City in the new era.
