Saigontourist Travel Service Company won three awards, including “Booth with the Most Effective Stimulus Program,” “Biggest Booth at VITM” and “Most Impressive Booth Design.” Furthermore, the company also received five other awards. They were “Travel Firm Serving a Big Number of Domestic Guests in 2019” for offices in Can Tho City and An Giang Province,“Travel Firm with Highest Number of Online Bookings in 2019,” “Outstanding Tour Operator CEO 2019,” and “Outstanding Tour Guide 2019.”
The ceremony is an annual event hosted by the Vietnam Tourism Association to commend individuals and enterprises in the hospitality industry with superb achievements and contributions. Highlighting the theme “Tourism of the Mekong Delta with the Whole Country,” VITM 2019 was first held in Can Tho City to promote tourism and lure more tourists to the Mekong Delta in general and Can Thoin particular. The event coorganized by the Vietnam Tourism Association and the Can Tho government lasted from November 20 to December 1. VITM 2019 accommodated 340 booths of 400 travel agents, hotels, transport units and tourism services providers, tourism associations, etc, from 20 provinces and cities across Vietnam and six nations and territories. At VITM 2019, Saigontourist introduced many tours, tourism products and hotel room rates at special prices. Especially, Saigontourist representatives also delivered a key note speech at a forum on tourism development in the Mekong Delta on November 29.
