Saigontourist Group and its members offered a discount of up to 30% on tours, lodging and culinary services for visitors to the booth of the group at the 16th HCMC Tourism Festival on July 16 and 17.

Taking place at Le Van Tam Park in HCMC’s District 1, the event was hosted by the HCMC Tourism Department and the HCMC Tourism Association to promote the city’s tourism.

This year’s event took place concurrently with the 15th International Food Festival to attract more visitors and introduce HCMC as a “Friendly-Attractive-Safe” destination. The festival played host to more than 150 booths of 50 provinces, cities, travel firms and accommodation facilities across the country and 50 Vietnamese and international food booths. The organizers expected to welcome over 200,000 visitors to the two events.

On the theme “Saigon-HCMC Lively Experiences”, the festival highlighted a slew of activities, such as the introduction of HCMC’s health tours and tours of HCMC and other localities, art and culinary performances and interactive sessions with travel bloggers who talked about safe and happy trips.

There were also booths offering new tours linking HCMC with provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta and the southeast region.

Thirty percent discount on domestic tours

Saigontourist Travel Service Company under Saigontourist Group has offered a 30% discount on domestic tours from VND 979,000. New tours are the three-day Ca Mau-U Minh Ha-Dat Mui National Park, including a stay at a four-star hotel from VND3.479 million (excluding air tickets); the tours of Hanoi, Lao Cai, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Ha Long, Moc Chau, Ban Gioc, Ba Be, Hung King’s Temple, ect. Costing from VND 6.079 million.

The tours of Da Nang, Ba Na, Hoi An and Cham Islet, Hue, Phong Nha Caves (comprising tickets of A O or Hoi An Memory Shows), Tuy Hoa and Quy Nhon cost from VND4.079 million. The tour of Phu Quoc Island is from VND3.979 million.

The road tours of Dong Thap, Sa Dec flower village, Huynh Thuy Le ancient house are from VND 979.000. Saigontourist Travel Service Co. also introduces tours of Nha Trang, Dalat, Phan Thiet, Ho Tram, Can Tho, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Ha Tien, Chau Doc and the Central Highlands. Other new tours of Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Vung Tau cost from VND1.379 million.

The best prices are valid for guests booking tours at offices and branches of Saigontourist and on the website www.saigontourist.net during the festival.

Binh Quoi Tourist Village offers new “Saigon on Green Satursay” tour from VND600,000. On the Bach Dang Park-Thanh Da Binh Quoi Penisualla tour, guests will enjoy the high-speed boat trip on the Saigon River, a visit to Binh Quoi 2 tourist site and Khan Hoang Nam Bo buffet featuring southern specialities. Meanwhile, the Tan Cang Tourist Site- Can Gio eco-tourism site tour features a trip to mangrove forests and seafood meals in Can Gio.

Incentives for lodging, food and beverage services, entertainment services.

In celebration of the 140th anniversary of establishment of Continental Hotel managed by Saigontourist Group, the hotel gives gifts to 140 first guests whose birthday is on September 27. Furthermore, the hotel also offers free food vouchers and hosts quiz shows.

First Hotel offers a 20% discount on room rates for guests booking a two-night stay. Those booking a three-night stay will pay for only two nights, and enjoy free airport transfer and free laundry service (four items per day). The hotel’s room rates at the festival are from VND1.3 million for individual guests and VND750,000 for travel firms. Couples booking a wedding party at the hotel with 10 tables will get a free table. Guests will enjoy a 10% discount on menu in the second time booking parties at the hotel. The hotel also offers a 20% discount on conference room rates.

A discount of 30% will be applicable to room rates at Saigon- Ban Gioc Resort if guests book rooms via the website www.saigonbangiocresort.com. Guests who book three nights will pay for two and book five nights will pay for three. The hotel will give a voucher worth VND 300,000 applicable to the next booking. The resort also offers a 50% discount on room rates and 20% discount on food services for Covid-19 frontliners.
